HAPPY NEW YEAR! We hope you had a wonderful 2008. We kept busy this year - mostly traveling. Here’s a recap…
FELIZ NAUGHTY DOG! In January Jeff rescued a little dog from starvation from the side of the highway in east Texas. We only intended to foster the pup back to health (hence his name Foster) but I’ve grown so attached, he’s still with us! He’s a toy fox terrier and quite a character. Jeff’s daughter Keila was married and had a baby girl in March – Kadi Lynne Coughlan. We visited them over Memorial Weekend and were smitten with Granddaughter Kadi! She’s such a good baby and has grown so much since we last saw her, we are hoping for another visit soon! We went to Tuscon for a weekend in March, I spent a week in San Diego in April for work, and we made a trip to Oklahoma to Aunt Delilah & Uncle Danny’s while my Dad and Aunt Flossie were there for a visit. Jeff’s motorcycle trip to Portland wasn’t all he’d hoped for, so he made another cross country trek to South Dakota where we spent 4th of July week with Amber’s whole family. We rented a cabin and did all the sights around Rapid City and enjoyed our time together. To celebrate our 10th anniversary we spent 10 days in Honolulu Hawaii. I did work all week too, but saw all the sites, snorkeled, rode a catamaran and enjoyed the island. Nancy came to El Paso to visit in August. We hadn’t seen her in a couple years. Keila is still in Kelso WA. Tim was in Iraq for about 6 months and returned to California in October. They both recently moved into their own apartments. We probably will do some more traveling in 2009 to visit them and hopefully to South Dakota & Minnesota to visit family too!
