2 year old for 2 days

Here is EJ who came to us for "2 days"...over a month ago. He was "sick" and came from the ER, but wasn't that sick really. During this short time he has changed alot! He turned 2, can now sit and listen to a book, has learned alot of new words (chew, guac, foster, pick-up are a few of his favorites), he's doing really well potty training, and is slowed down on his eating...we finally have filled him up, we think. He sleeps really well - 12 hours at night plus a nap. He eats just about everything, after a few NO!s. He's a good kid...but alot of work...which is part of the reason it has taken me over a month to get him on the blog! Other contributing factors: I was sick, the holidays, final exam, volunteer duties, visit from my mom... but EJ is definitely taken up alot of our time! Not sure how long he will be with us, but they are looking for a permanent placement with his brother...which will be better...Jeff is eager to get back to working on the bathroom remodel - the pace of which has slowed considerably! But, I tell him that's ok...since we are doing good work with EJ!
